Hayden isn't competing on the Honda right now...and he's playing second fiddle to Pedrosa it seems.
I'd love to see Hayden on the Duc next year!

I would like to see Hayden on the Ducati but I don't think he would want to switch rides. No one can compete on the Ducati except Stoner.
when you count the folks who haven't ridden it at all, you really can't know that can you

I would love to see hayden on a duc as well, if honda doesn't get him where he wants to be this year I could see him leaving them.

No one can compete on the Ducati except Stoner. I think Stoner wins in spite of the Ducati. If Stoner was on a Yamaha - look out.
If he's that good than what happened to him on the RC211? Because if he's so good that he wins in spite of the Ducati, and look out if he hops on a Yamaha, then he should have certainly won on the RC211V.
I think Lorenzo is the heir to Rossi's throne........that kid is already competitive in his rookie season. And riding his last two races injured he was still competitive. He's the friggin' man to watch.

I predict Bayliss is going to get so far in front in WSBK that he'll have to strap Pedro to the Duc as a dead weight.
He'll lock up WSBK and then take Melandri's seat and sweep the remaining races to earn both the WSBK and MotoGP titles in his fairwell tour. :e:v
thats because aussie have bigger balls and shit roads

Even if Hayden were to move into the Duc team, I don't think he'd be competitive. Todays bikes are more finesse rides than before, with speed and timing critical. The older 990 and 2 stroke 500's were a ballsy ride where you could power your way out of a mistake.
That why all the good riders in the older 990 class have been struggling. And the newer 250 riders succeeding. IMO

you need take another look at casey's riding style and they way he controls the bike. it's anything but finesse.

That doesn't seem to apply to all, obviously. Some have been able to overcome the change better than others is my point.
And names that you'd see up top in the past are having problems staying there now.

I think when you look at the performances of Ducati and Honda and the riders who can or can not make them go fast, it shows that the"winning factor" is a true combination of variables. It's not enough to have a fast bike, or a brilliant rider. You have to have a bike that's tailored to an individual riders style and can be set up in a manner that makes them confident enough to push 110% and beyond. To push the boundaries and ride the machine past it's limit and onto the top of the podium.
I think Hayden is going to have to leave Honda, simply because his riding style is so different from Pedrosa's. It's simpy going to be too difficult to develop a bike that can compliment both riders. That said, I think his riding style would be complimented by the Ducati. He likes big power, and somewhat loose riding, which seems to be what characterized the Ducati.
