Can't Change Avatar

Might be the same thing as below but that topic is off limits for me.

Was changing it this morning, but now I can't change it at all and they all come out IZ_ on posts but look clear in my profile.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

The pic is clear in my profile, it's only thumbnail size and in my post it's big & IZ_, as you may see?

Actually, it's IZ_ in my profile as well, I just checked, I will see what i can do my end first.

Nah, hasn't changed, still the same.

I grab the pic's url from flickr, it's only a thumbnail and place that url on the forum profile information thingy.

It is clear on forum profile info but it expands & blurs on posts.

Actually, it's IZ_ in my profile as well, I just checked, I will see what i can do my end first.
The way we have the software configured it automagically makes avatars 100px square.

If you're uploading a smaller image it will increase the size and make it distorted.

So I've been trying to change mine for a couple of days.  I upload the picture I want and when I click change profile it just goes to a blank page.  I know the pic is good because I used it before.  Any help?

Follow up...

it seems that the forum software has difficulty making very large images into avatar size...I don't know why.

This was solved by reducing the image with P-shop to 480 x 640 and it worked like a charm.
