Hi guys,

Can someone tell me if the wheels fitted to an 02 S4 are painted or powdercoated? They are 5 spoke marechinis (sp?)

Travelling and don't have access to them otherwise I would just go look...

TIA

I was thinking about ceramic coating my wheels silver then scuffin them up (Exile Style) for that raw alum. look..
Still on the fence if I should do it or not..

Anyone have pics of alum/silver color wheels on a black framed/black tank Monster ?

I need to get some updated pics soon, but I stripped my wheels, then had them sodium blasted. It has held up well, and I like the look of the bare aluminum. Pics soon I promise.
2007 - S4RS - Full termi system, integrated front signals/mirrors, Cox Racing radiator/oil cooler guard, frame sliders, DP tank guard, tinted windscreen, Sergeant Seat, pressure plate, spring retention caps, RCM clutch cover (painted), tail chop, emission removed, reflector removal
IN PROCESS - Rizoma clip-ons, grips and ends, Sodium blasted wheels

If I could find an aluminum tank for my s4rt, I'd be all over that raw aluminum/black look as well.  Exile builds some nice looking kit for sure  [bow_down].  I wonder what the scuffed ceramic coating would look like on a stainless exhaust pipe......I need something for the KTM I just bought, because polishing something like that every week SUCKS.

To the original question, I'd reco powder coating.  Much more durable than paint, and ought to cost you about the same as well.
