'97 M750 Sub-Frame vs '98-01

I have a source for Givi hard bag mounts designed to fit the '98 - '01 sub-frames. Do any of you know how the '97 sub-frame would differ or if brackets designed for the former could be modified to work w/ the latter?

I don't think there is any real difference in any of those frames.

They are definitely all 851/888 based frames.

The differences are with the tail light mounts, early versions had more metal in the tail and later ones had the taillight mount off of the rear fender.

depending on what the givi bag mounts are looking for as far as attachment points you may have to fab some extra supports.
