I'll miss using the politics board as a news filter, but I won't miss some of the "banter."

I like cats, too. I much prefer their company to that of dogs.

I felt the comment was appropriate to both the thread conversation and the politics board as a whole.

Not so much that I'm offended by the comment.

A forum, closed due to (sometimes) thinly veiled hostility and hatred.
A thread, started to bemoan the demise of said forum.
A post, which is only different (from the reason for the forum demise) because the target isn't a human.
