S2R 800 Charcol Canister Removal

I have been looking around the web. I have the basic idea. It looks like I just need to plug the two intake hoses and "t" the two tank lines. Can someone with experience enlighten me.

I used vacuum caps to seal off the intake manifolds, cost about 2 dollars for an assorted set at autozone. Just make sure to run the tank vent line down to the bottom of the frame and secure it well so that you don't risk spilling fuel onto the paintwork, or anywhere else that you don't want fuel in case the tank is ever over filled, or the fuel expands during hot weather.

once you remove the canister and plug the nipples on the manifolds you will most likely have to adjust the idle (called the Air Bypass) on each throttle body.  There is a small plastic plug that you break and remove to get to it. 

i did mine by ear.  warmed it up (hard to do because after removing the canister, it tried to idle around 600), and then turn each screw out by about 1/8th turn until it levels out at about 1000 rpm.

the S2R manual floating around has the instructions for doing it.  just need a small flathead screwdriver.

i did not Tee my lines, I just ran the overflow and vent down to the bottom and tied them to the stock exhaust hanger "8" on the bottom (I don't have the udder on mine).
