Ferrari Ducati 996 Custom Cruiser Pro Street
Vehicle Description
Ferrari Ducati 996 Custom Cruiser Pro Street
Vehicle Description
Up for auction is a one of a kind custom Ducati street cruiser. This was custom built specifically for Ferrari dealership owner, Ray Anthony. It took best in show at Daytona 2005 and was also one of seven bikes taken to the Essen auto show in Germany.
This bike is not just show IT GOES!
*Built on a Dayter frame.
*Custom aluminum tank.
* Triple tree tag mount.
At that point we did not want to lose any of Ducati's genius design, so we employed:
*Polish Duc swing arm and shock
*Factory down tubes
*Polish factory rims
*Polished Brembo brakes
*Factory computer and gauges
It also features steel fenders, fiberglass fork fairing and engine covers, full trenched in turning signals and brake lights, ostrich seats, and a detachable passenger seat.
The exhaust is fully custom and sounds like no other!
The bike is very light and fast, a great thrill ride!
The balance is excellent, even a novice would feel comfortable while riding.
This bike is a real work of art and is sure to attract the attention of many people wherever it goes! This bike is listed locally and listed can be pulled down at any time due to the availability of the bike so be sure to get your one of a kind Ducait cruiser.

The guys name is Bob who owns it -- definitely a character with an interesting reputation out there not worth repeating here.
When I attended the Ducati Day Daytona event in 2005, I talked with Bob before attending. Essentially his comments were that he'd bring the bike to the event ONLY if I wouldn't enter the show competition against him. If I entered while there, he would leave. I figured -- what the heck, I don't need another trophy for my DesmoDevil because it accomplishes nothing and thus didn't enter.
I'm curious what powerplant is actually under the bodywork on that thing. Bob via e-mail has said 748 and also 916. Now it has a 996 engine?
I think it's been on eBay @8 times over the past few years. Not a good thing to be honest.

Wonder what his next project will be...maybe a NASCAR-themed 1098 that only turns left?

Add a little lighter fluid and a match to make the thread title a fact.
