Very interesting, I think Charlie was the one who slowed the show down the most.
I actually saw that Top Gear has also been sold in Germany.
One of the hosts is a sometime guest on the UK show Sabine the Queen of the Ring (don`t go there)
It refers to the old Nurburgring track...

At least he know WTF he is talking about when it comes to cars, their performance and driving them. waytogo

And the girls could have a little dribble on the TV couch too. ??  Evil

you remember the time she tries to beat Jeremy's time around the track in a econovan/transit...and they pull the stuffing out of it...

there is one corner that she exits and quickly overtakes a porsche boster...and there's one where she takes a motorbike too!

just brilliant!

Uh-oh ... what's going on here?

Agree that Charlie was the biggest problem for the Oz TG, but the Pizza guy is still pretty annoying. Seems quite convenient that his UK business interests are too pressing to continue with the show ... conspiracy theory / reading between the lines anyone?

What do you guys think of James getting the gig? I like the guy and he has a personality which will be an improvement, will be interesting to see how it goes ... seems to love his cars.

As for Sabine, nah not for me. Granted, she is good around the 'ring ... but I don't know how well her humour would translate to Australia. But what do I know ... I have heard of guys who set their SatNav to German just so they have an authoratative German women telling them where to go, even though they don't understand a word of German.

Typical German response Roll Eyes I mentioned her humour cheeky. Are Germans strictly refusing to acknowledge it exists now? laughingdp

As for 'babe', like I said, not really for me.

But I don't know if anybody is ready for Jukie hosting Top Gear Shocked. May not be as fast as Sabine around the 'ring, but it would certainly be entertaining ... and Ducati references a certainty Smiley
