I haven't really heard a whole lot of pregnant doging out of the Utah camp.
Mostly they have been rather modest about it all.
We can break it down a bit to...
Oregon State beat USC...Utah beat Oregon State.
Utah beat Alabama who beat Ole Miss who beat Florida.

The biggest problem with the bowl selection system as it stands is money is too much of a factor. I.E. Pick the team with a bigger fan base or television draw over the team that has a proven ability to win games.

Just wish that there was a perfect system but then the Buckeyes would have to lose everygame. (Why yes...I am a jaded Michigan Fan) ;-)

You know what sucks?  If Michigan was playing Texas tonight I would be cheering for Michigan the whole time.  You can hate the Buckeyes all you want but don't you want your conference to look as good as possible?

Oh by the way its been 1,871 days since Michigan has beat Ohio State in Football.  Yeah we keep track of those things.  ;D

Well what can I say.  We played a great game and didn't have Beanie for most of the second half.  Just one gripe.  Texas was pretty much handed 15 yards on a plate by that bullshit roughing the passer call in the third quarter.

I will give it up for the incredible game both teams played!  [clap] That freshman QB for OSU is awesome and will only get h*ll of a lot better!!  :o

If it were any other BIG-10 team..Penn State, Iowa, etc. I would be cheering for them..but since it's TX!!

You saw the beginning of the game though, right?  I thought I saw that UM was still #1 for all-time wins?  What..by at least 50 over #5 or #6 OSU??   ;D

Congrats to OSU on tons of heart. I and most other Texas fans already had lots of respect for OSU's program, and I've got even more now. I actually expected Beanie Wells to have 150 - 200 yds rushing before the game, and his loss hurt them. Terrell Pryor is going to be something else when his accuracy improves.
If I have a gripe, it's that Texas played poorly, but whose fault is that? I haven't seen Colt miss that many open recievers all year, and the offensive coordinator, Greg Davis, went passive as hell with the playcalling. He used to call games this way a few yrs ago, and that's why most fans wanted him fired.
I'm glad we weren't up against Florida playing like that; we would have gotten our asses handed to us.

I love the conference and 9 times out of ten I would root for the Big Ten over any other conference. What makes me anti-Ohio State is that they cry and whine and say they DESERVE to be in their last 2 BCS Championship games and then they forget to get on the plane for the game. I just feel there have been more deserving teams with bigger heart getting jacked by the system who have simply had some dignity in the whole process while Ohio State cries about being robbed and then blows the 2 opportunities they are given.

That being said, Ohio State played one hell of a game of football tonight. They impressed me several times and Pryor is going to be fearsome in the coming years. I don't usually get emotionally charged for games but Ohio State played with alot of heart and I commend them. But if I see tomorrow Tressel or Laurenitis complaining about the officiating calls, it's right back on the Buck the make the beast with two backseyes express for me! ;)

And while we are on the subject of statistics, let's go back to 1929 when Michigan had a worse season than this with a first year coach. But then let us note that the next 4 out of 5 Big Ten titles including 2 national championships came over the next 5 years. Oh yeah...and it would take approximately 6 years of Michigan losing every single game and Ohio State winning every single game to get to Michigan's number of wins. And we won't go into the all time record between UofM and OSU.  ;D

Anyway, your Buckeyes played one hell of a game of football. I commend them.

Good game by OSU.  [clap] Definitely did better than I thought they would. I'll give it to them that they deserved to be there over BSU.  [thumbsup]

+1 That was a BS call that led to a TD.  :-\

That was a great game.  OSU had it won, but just couldn't close the deal on defense.

OSU shouldn't have be 7.5 point dogs.  Any team w/ Pryor/Wells type players is going to be a tall order.  I'm a Texas Alum and wouldn't have given OSU 7.5 points at the onset.

Pryor is going to give Big 10 (err 11 since they can't count)  defenses fits for the next few years.  He looked solid, a little bit more accuracy and he'll be a huge threat to any team in the country.

Congrats to Ohio State on a great season!   I hope to see them next January.  [thumbsup]
