After reading your voice mail challenge, I think you'll be sold on the iPhone's Visual Voicemail. 

Oh the Storm has the visual VM as well but guess what? You need to have text messaging for it to work which of course costs extra.   

Well, you can say one good thing about the Storm...it helped you make up your mind quickly!

Yeah but I just hope I don't hate the iPhone because as I'm transferring my number from Verizon I'm sure it's more of a PITA that just returning the thing to my local AT&T store.

I was at the Verizon store today playing with several phones.  I think their plans are at the minimum unclear, and at the most, deceptive.  You are right, VZN costs more.  It is hard to actually figure out how much a plan will cost with the options you want, and if it includes VZN and Vcast and Vvideo.

I found the storm to be very hard to navigate webpages with compared to an iphone.

I guess I got lucky with my 26% discount on my plan because NOBODY can even come close to touching all of the features my plan offers for what I pay (under $100 for full voice(1400 mins) and data with unlimited text/pics with VCast and VZ Navigator on 3 phones on my package).

The stock browser on the Storm does blow. But the Opera Mini makes it just as easy to navigate as the IPhone.

Sorry to hear about the OPs issues. Willing to bet that the phone they gave you didn'thave the updated OS on it as those were the issues that the first release had.

Good luck with the IPhone. It is a great product with a Zippo app!!!

So I picked up my iPhone today and so far it's head and shoulders better than the Storm.

I do have a question for all you iPhone users.

Can you apply songs from your library to use as rigntones? I've been trying but I can't seem to figure it out.

Thanks Adam but I followed the instructions and it didn't work. It suggests that you have to change an extension on the file which I wasn't able to do.

I don't have one. If you've ever used an iPhone you would understand. The ones that come with the phone are terrible.

I would even be happy with a ringtone that sounded like a modern phone ringing. I don't even want my phone to play songs when it rings but by the looks of it, it's my only choice.

The only ringtone on a cell phone should be vibrate.
