so I've been scouring ebay and the parts for sale for weeks and haven't seen any adjustable forks coming up.

Anybody have some laying around?  Tired of the pogo sticks on my 620.  Other than the suspension I'm perfectly happy with the bike.  I have a rear waiting to get installed, and decided I'd like to get the adjustables up front instead of just getting new springs.  A buddy of mine has some SBK forks but not sure if I want to go through the hassle of making them work.

thanks for your help.

The GSXR forks work in the Monster triples.  I'm not sure about the wheel swapping out but you can pick up a set of forks and calipers for about $300 and a wheel and rotors for $200 on ebay and you'd have a nice little set up on the 620.

You'd be the only kid on the block with radial mount calipers on a 620!  [moto]
Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.

yeah, i've thought about it, but I want to really make sure I can't stay with something remotely OEM before I go there.  The swap to the GSXR forks seems like a lot more work.  Especially considering a new wheel would be in order.  I've been doing parallel search for gsxr forks as well, and haven't seen a whole set up yet.

I've at the point where I've been looking for totalled bikes just to get the parts I want and then part them out for the rest.

Thanks for the tip though.  If anyone comes across some S2R 1000 forks, I'd appreciate the lead.

not sure about the wheel, but they did come with the calipers and triples.

but he wanted way more than I could afford, so no-go anyway.  Apparently they came off a rear-end-total.  swingarm and frame was demolished, and apparently the engine ruptured at one of the mounts.

Still hunting.

thanks for the link.  That's actually for the rear, which I already have replaced with a 3-way adjustable unit.
I need fronts to match the rear.  Found some on ebay finally, hoping I win the auction.

yay me!

That's just one of the legs, but I won them both.  $255 total for both.  Have to get new springs for them, which I was prepared for.  Swap them out in my garage.  Should be good to go.

Anyone else have suggestions other than new springs for my weight?  New oil I suppose, too.

How far do you want to go with 'em?

Springs and oil would be a great start.
