Oh...
I thought you were talking about that other forum.

I watched the DVD special features, and the bickering about who did what and how was not limited to the director and writer.  Apparently, each actor -each of the five man crew, and even the guy playing Kobayashi- thought they were Kaiser Soze.  Much to the chagrin of all the other actors.  They got in fights about it, and Singer had to convince them individually, they they were probably Soze without anyone else knowing.

Slag

Now THAT is funny  [laugh] Imagine how upset they were on premier night...

I think Benicio Del Toro was the only one who didn't think he was Soze. I saw an interview with him and they were asking him how he came up with the Fred Fenster, aka the mumbling character. He decided early on that none of his dialog was important to the film, so why not do something fun with it. He ran the idea past the director and he loved the idea.

Still, folks worrying about "what actually happened" are missing the point. Makes about as much sense as trying to decide who's lying in Rashômon[laugh]
I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...

I am going to have to re-watch it, but If memory serves there was a scene they kept in the movie where Fenster was doing his incomprehensible mumbling thing for the first time on screen with one of the other actors.  Benecio gets going on his Fenster, and the other actor drops character, and lapses into a state of Total WTF.  There are a few deleted scenes where he can't tone down the Fenster enough to actually deliver the lines - they're hilarious.

Also good are the stories about how Stephen Baldwin and Kevin Pollack started a blood feud with each other on set.  Absolutely no love lost between these guys.  For some reason.

nobody could keep a straight face during the lineup scene. if you pay attention to the editing, you can tell that everybody in the room is/has been laughing uncontrollably.
