So I'm home for the holidays, ( Hi everyone! I'd be nice to met some of you one of these days. )

The first order of business was getting muddy out in dirt-bike paradise where I grew up Grin
I entered exited the desert at the power lines / Pima/ Dynomite Rd. way out in North Snottsdale(I grew up here so I get to make fun)
Upon getting back onto the road at Pima, there's a  Police stopping everyone to let us know of the new law:

NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES OF ANY KIND OFF ROAD IN SCOTTSDALE, AND SOON ALL OF MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ. They say it's a dust/air quality issue.
Holy moley batman, wtf? the sky is falling  Shocked Is this the end of a way of life here? wow. blown away.

Is anyone aware/ want to/ or already doing anything about this?
Air quality?! for real? how about the 10 million cars on the road? rant rant rant.
I'm all for environmentalism. But this is dubious to me. The dang wind kicks up more dust everyday than any dirt bike.
