Triumph Thruxton Mini Headlight Fairing (Now w/Pics)

As for Triumph dealers who sell products online, I'm sure they're out there. Unfortunately I have no first hand experience with any of them though. I ordered my fairing through my local Triumph dealer here in the Atlantic Canada. I see from your profile that you're in Brasil... check www.triumph.co.uk for a Triumph dealer listing in South America. One of them may be able to help you.

For aftermarket options, Airtech Streamlining produces an aftermarket version (TB85T) which you might want to consider. www.airtech-streamlining.com/triumph/bonneville2001-06.htm It'll require finishing work (painting, etc).

Also, geoffsduc suggested www.thetankshop.com in the UK who make beautiful aluminum cafe pieces. Their version is taller than the OEM fairing height though.

You could get a little more rearward angle by removing some material from the Dart bracket where it touches the headlight bracket.   Keep in mind, the Dart folks figured out the aerodynamics pretty well.

As stated by HOWIE, the brackets could be modified to allow more rearward angle ... BUT the wind protection that it provides is

Hi guys. Nice to hear my little project has been a bit inspiring. Please post some pics of your fairings when they're fitted. And if you come up with some tricky lower fairing support brackets please show them too.

My own install is on hold as I'm travelling for work again this week and next. I'll get back to it late next week when I'm home.

So I have not been able to make much progress with my attempt to install the Thruxton fairing.  I ordered the TB85T from Airtech (which takes 6 weeks to make and deliver).  I started getting ready to do some mock up on it (I have stock turn signals and need to make cut outs in the fairing to fit these) and noticed an irregularity in the piece.  It appears that someone took the mold out too soon as the left side of the faring has a slightly caved in section around the inlay where the bolt hole is.  So needless to say I regretfully sent the fairing back to Airtech for further inspection and probably will have to wait another 6 weeks for a new one to be made and delivered to me.  I'll keep you updated and post pics when I start making some progress.  I'm way too excited to do this project to be waiting this long, but I guess patience is something I need to learn eventually.  [moto]

Ahh, the curse of the Thruxton style fairing. Sorry to hear about your woes. But it'll be worth the wait in the end.

I don't know of any fairing similar in style to the Thrux one that'll integrate with your duals. The Dart screen looks pretty good with dual headlights though. A few members here have that setup. Post a thread asking for pics and I'm sure someone will be happy to show their bike.

We've finally had some nice warm days here so I wheeled the Monster outta the garage today to snap some beauty pics. I'm really pleased with how the fairing and checkerboard turned out.

I also had the bike out for a short blast last night. The fairing provides a very minor amount of wind protection. However, my headlight is lowered by 2.5" so the Thrux fairing would probably do a slightly better job of protecting from the wind on a bike with the headlight in the stock position.
