I installed genmar risers on my '07 695 and the throttle cable is too tight when the bars are full lock to the left (engine rpm increases).  Can the cable be rerouted or would I be better off to buy a new cable that's a couple of inches longer?  I have not looked for a replacement cable yet, just wondering if that might be a better choice than rerouting the existing one.

Suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

1) Are there any slack in the line behind the instrument cluster?
2) I think you can get a little adjustment by rotating the throttle slack-ness screw on the cable.
3) You could rotate the bars down a little.
4) You could adjust the steering lock to not bind the cable (by giving up some turning ability)
5) You need new cables.
