Lots of folks all over.  As you might expect, it's most dense near the city, with a lean towards number of CAM'rs (like myself) in NOVA.  But there's folks all over.  DC is also the central hub of the regional DOC aka MAD http://www.mad-ducati.com/

Seems most of you are in the dc area, but there are some out my way.

What are the pro's and con's of all the states in that area (WV, VA, MD, PA) for living, Anybody know????

As for the YELLOW, well it stands out, plus its the fastest color anyway!!

Well if I could live out your way - I would let's just say that!  The good roads are just south/west of you and it's all good for miles and miles. But there is some local stuff near you. Check out Tuscarora Pike to Poor House Rd (do not take Tuscarora Pike over the mountain it is in need of major repair) to Apple Harvest Dr to Back Creek Valley Rd all the way to Route 9 or turn onto Hampshire Grade Rd over to US 522. If you take Rt. 9 follow it back to Martinsburg, although taking it west to Paw Paw is awesome. If you take Hampshire Grade Rd to US 522, turn left at 522(south) and follow it down to Cedar Grove Rd (Citgo.Grocery store on your left) follow Cedar Grove to first major intersection and turn right on Catalpa Rd(Rt. 672) and take that to next intersection, turn left on Apple Pie Ridge Rd. Follow that to Green Spring Rd (Rt. 671 at White Hall) whch will take you back to Apple Harvest Rd. Nice Loop.

Nice Bike - me like. BTW my M900 also started out as a dark so I can relate somewhat, guess I'm not fast enough for yellow like you, Tim, Drew, Eric mine is Red/white. Look forward to meeting you - Gene

gene, thanks!!!  I will have to refer to this again once I get there with my bike.  Do you guys winterize your bikes??  Mine is currently sitting in the dinning room on stands. I lived in the Dallas fort worth area in texas, we never had to winterize there!!  Some of the people from the DFWM group said they met a CAM member last year in Austin area.

I don't - I ride them all year, although this is major mod time, so one of them is down for some tasty mods. The weather usually cooperates, rode this past weekend both days, About the only thing I do is move them into my heated storage unit, I will keep one at home until the snow flies - then they all go in the heated, carpeted palace someday I will have one house with a heated garage, instead of two houses with no garage. Catch up with you in February I hope. - Gene

I live about 80-90 miles from Martinsburg but I work in Winchester, VA so I am up in that area quite a bit. Route 9 west is quite a nice road as Gene mentions. I no longer own a Monster so if you want to ride with a guy who owns a Multistroodle just let me know. I have started several small group rides this year in Strasburg, VA with Winchester being right up the road.

The stroodle is not nearly as nimble as a Monster but it is much more comfortable to ride distance on and can be hustled down a country road if so desired. I have yet to meet anyone that has ridden one that says they did not like it.

Can anyone let me know about the surrounding states (taxes, car registeration, etc..) in prices.  Trying to start looking for a house and don't know where to look.  Any help out there??
