But couldn't the same problem occur from the right lane?  So should you look 4 times?  And if so, couldn't you get stuck in an endless cycle of looking?  Not a knock against the commercial - I'm for anything that makes cagers more aware.

According to the damn lies known as statistics, one of the primary causes for serious motorcyclist injuries is cagers taking a left in front of us.

Lets start with the big stuff, first.

possibly.  But what lane do you get into first?  From the "right" lane you both have more time to react.


Good commercial.  Should be common sense (yeah yeah, not so common).  When I was in elementary school and they were teaching us how to cross the street it was the same thing.  Look left, right, then left again.  I wonder if they still teach that.

Good point.  If they have to constantly keep looking, then we should never have to stop!
