I'm in the market for an exhaust system for my 2009 696. I'm torn between the MiVV carbon GP system and the QD round carbon system. Any thoughts, suggestions, etc? Also, I have the Termi ECU, & filter, hate the pipes, and want a round CF canister.

I'm gonna hang on to the ECU and filter. Let me know if you want the cans.

Love the small race-look of the Mivv GP. You might get complaints from passengers, they don't protect much from the heat of the pipes?
Are the Suono model cheaper? - because they sound good too waytogo  (YouTube)
You should check with PJsParts if you really need the ECU - if not, selling your whole system will make you some $$$

IMO the QD doesn't look that much different than the Termignonis. Do they?

QD makes a set that resembles the MiVV GP's. I love the small race-look too. I really hate the fat look of all the ovals out there. And doesn't it make sense to want as little extra weight as possible mounted up that high? I'm leaning towards the MiVV because it looks like a larger diameter inlet pipe to the cans. Hard to tell from the available pics online. Good point about the ECU. I'll ask around. Anyone know if K&N makes a filter for the 696?

The inlet pipes to the cans are limited by the system overall.

The big question there is "does the 1100 full system work with the 696?"
That would be the only way besides custom to increase your exhaust pipe diameter.

Hey Raux,

I was unclear, I meant that it looks like the input to the can tapers out a bit at the can. ie: stock diameter at midpipe but then gets a little larger going into the can. Do you know if  these will work with the stock ECU?

What would be your asking price for the cans?

The seller took them off before he sold me the bike, so I didn't get them.
