The bike that started the naked bike revolution has been reborn and is, once again, breaking all the rules. The new Monster weighs in at an astonishing 47lbs less than its closest class competitor and the power of its 1100cc air-cooled engine gives it an impressive power-to-weight ratio. The M1100 S combines the carnal nakedness of the original Monster with the latest technology and styling. An icon of individuality, features like removable tank panels make the M1100 S the perfect platform for personalization.

Just posting the info from my email. Should be very coooooool!  bow down

Come out and join us this Friday night 1/9, from 6-8pm to celebrate the Release of Ducati's newest Monster. We'll be unveiling the M1100S at 7. As part of a national competition we had our M1100S turned into a work of art by local artist NikkiZabicki. You'll have an opportunity to vote for our Monster online at www.ducatiusa.com during the month of January. The Monster that wins will be featured at the remaining IMS shows this Winter. We'll also have hors d'oeuvres and drinks plus double rewards for Rider's Club Members. I hope to see each of you Friday.

Ride safe,

PJ

I'm coming and Bonfy is burning tanks of diesel through her turbo Cummins to try to make it... we may have to drag our feet out the door for her to make it though.

I was with Meg and we were not eating snacks we needed dinner. My son and I, both on Honda's,  went for a ride about 5pm and got to PJs at 550 so by 715 we were all hungry and needing to go. I had on some high tech, paper thin shirt under my jacket and was FROZEN! We rode east on rt66 and watched the moon rise over "Dead Man's Curve"! Yes Gabe and I will be skiing all day sunday! Whooo hooo

Dammit!  Sorry I missed the festivities.  I got into town at 10PM thanks to some really shitty weather between Pueblo and Walsenberg that added at least an hour's drive time.  I kept her out of the ditch though.  And before I left the Springs, I had a mechanical problem that I thought was going to be a show stopper.  I lost the power assist to both my steering and brakes.  It was beyond my nerve capacity and stupidity to drive that one-ton without it.  Luckily topping off the power steering and brake fluid reservoir restored functionality, but I will have to deal with the leaks asap.  I went straight to PJ's in the off chance that the party was such a roaring success that everyone decided to stick around.  Too late.  There were only a few cars in the parking lot and the lights were off.   Cry   That's alright.  It sounds like I will get to see most of you on Sunday.   waytogo

P.S.  Where's the pictures?
