BAD LUCK STRIKES AGAIN. I just flipped over my house.

My only black key is missing. My red key is kept in a metal box in my closet. I havent checked yet, but im pretty sure its still there.

Does anyone know where i could get a black key? I have a 2006. Dealer wants $100 for them :/

nvm. found this after a bit of searching.

http://www.motorcyclekeys.com/ducatichipkey.html i just emailed him to see if he had anymore in stock. Now i have to go find my red key.

Bookmarked that site, thanks.

I've got a two year old boy, and I've lost then found my black keys more than I can count.

Payment sent! will let you know how the key turns out.

$15+5 shipping gets you a blank key with instructions on how to program it. I just need to get it cut

i have bought a key from that guy, then took it to local locksmith who cut and programmed it for 15 bucks. still use it and works perfect. i didn't have the red key, only 1 black key.

I bought one from the dealer for $26 last year. I think you need the red key and one other original black key to program it.

red key is not needed. my locksmith has a Silca RW3 key copier, all it's takes it one key (doesn't have to be red) and a blank key. like i said, i did a black key to blank copy and it cost 15 bucks to cut and program it.

You'll find that key as soon as you get done programming the new one.   Grin

I heard somewhere that the red key can only be copied a fixed number of times?

no idea if i need the black key or not. It comes in tomorrow and he left me with instructions. Id perfer to cut and program it myself. ( i have access to a key cutter that i used to cut my older carbie monster keys)
