I cut out my kick stand kill so now the bike starts on the stand.

It is exactly how I wanted but now I need to remove the harness that runs down the engine to the kickstand itself.  I couldnt figure out if there was some bolt or something to unscrew in order to pull the thing off in one shot.  I was trying to avoid clipping the wires in the case that I may want to put it back to stock.

Anyone know if this is possible?  How would I do it if so?

Don't cut any wires, it all comes off together.

Remove the bolt that holds the switch on, then unhook the wires.
You may need to pull out a bolt or 2, depends on how the wires are restrained.

When looking at the kickstand there is a bolt that goes right through the middle of the pivot point where the stand connects to the bike.  I originally figured that would be the bolt that was holding the harness on but then when I rotate the kickstand that bolt rotates with it.  After that I figured that the bolt was holding the kickstand on the bike and that harness was held on by some other means (clip or hidden screw).  From what was I am reading above, I would be taking that "rotating bolt" out and then the harness should just come off.  Is this correct?  I dont want to get myself in a position where my kickstand detaches from the bike  and my bike collapses on top of me.  ha

Small bolt on the outside, maybe 8mm or 10mm hex.
With the bolt out, you can just pull the switch off.

Best to have a helper steady the bike, or do it on a rearstand.
True, you don't want to have the bike fall on you.
