I wished the man luck and told him that he was making his biggest mistake, said not just because I no longer am employed, but because he truely does not see the big picture.  He was and is  the detail guy.. I am/was the big picture guy.

Funny how people are getting laid off and I'm the only one dumb enough to be quitting. Hmmm... Maybe I should rethink what I'm doing 3 people got the axe at my company today too.

One of our window suppliers has what they call.... window depots. They stayed out of Bakersfield out of respect to our business.

now.... that I am no longer gainfully employed... I am free to contact them, and inquire about running a Bakersfield location, see'n how my "old" boss will soon be toast
