Has anyone ever seen a cowl like the ones on the Sport 1000S (photo below) or the Paul Smart machines on a monster?

I'm sure someone makes these aftermarket.

Trying to envision what that would look like, so I guess I need do do some photoshopping.....

There used to be a Ducati Performance "sport tail" (or some such) that was a bit like what you described.

Don't know if they're still available, however.

I sorry guys, I was being stupid. I mean the front fairing, not the cowl.

there is a DP nose piece . if you do a search on here for the racing 620s you will see a yellow one with it on there.

Looks better on the sportclassic.

Doesn't work as well with the tank and frame of the monster.

Just my .02c

I'm in the other boat I think it looks fantastic, planned on doing it to the dug after it relinquishes it's touring and commuter duties.

I'm actually not sure how it would look, but I love those vintage farings. I would love to at least mock it up and see what it looked like.

:edit:

found it on TOB. couldn't open the photo because I wasn't logging in.

but, being a vintage part, it's not so bulky like the SC fairing, which looks pretty good w/the monster tank.

Airtech has some vintage fairings you might be able mount up with some bracket fabrication

i'm pretty sure he specifically meant the vintage euro-cafe front fairing like the sport1000 has.
