Yup. I normally get about 300 kbps for uploads. and unfortunely, unless i pay for a $99 a month satellite connection (with a 768 max) thats the best i can do. Why is it 25kbps? because my brothers life revovles around keeping his demonoid account share ratio at 1.00

I cant wait for FIOS to come to my house (in about never). All i want to do is play xbox live, or chat with a friend, cant do it. i think 56k has a better upload rate.

cant access his router. Its a modem to router to router. We havent been on speaking terms for over a year now so unless i reset it, which he will (not kidding) smash my laptop for doing so and it ends up being a war.

im trying to swithc to DSL so the modem ends up on my end so i cna just unplug his ass when he starts puling this shit.

im 21 in march (full time engineering student) hes, i dunno 24 or 25? im not sure.

When school is back in session Jan 26, im never gonna be home. Im either taking my Muay Thai classes, or going to late night classes so im not gonna waste my money on my own connection. I rather spend it on booze. id love to get a job that has a graveyard shift though. im just wired to be up at that time.

I used the have the same problem w/ a roommate that I didn't like. I started pulling the plug on him at random times when I knew for a fact he was gaming. With nothing to break in retaliation he had no choice but to settle to "reasonable" terms.

But my brother is not the type of person youd want to reason with. He goes out of his way to get back at me for the smallest thing, rip up my clothes for eating his food, smash up any valuables because i annoyed him. When i was a kid he'd purposely do things just for fun. I wanted to change my bed sheets and he said, no, i fought with him and he poured water all over my bed. he destroyed 3 of my video games (59.99 each) because i called him a bald faggot. Not sure if its cause hes balding or he really is gay. This is why i havent said a word to him in 13 months, im just sick of putting up with his crap.

I had a roomate that would fall asleep with the TV Blasting. it was SO freaking annoying, but i just programmed his TV to shut of at 3am, he never noticed until he was watching tv at 3am one time and it just shut off.

Either way, im trying to get it connected to my room so i have control of it. Its just a matter of wiring the damn thing.

all joking aside, i still go to school full time so i live in my parents house, hes too much of a cheapskate to move out. that and i think hes a freaking leech, he leaves EVERYTHING for someone else to clean up, leaves the milk out, if hes the last one to eat dinner, he leaves all the dishes (by dishes i mean like the food itself) out for the food to rot on the table over night. etc.

Its impossible dealing with this kid. He wont ever man up to anything, has the worst work ethics, freaking OD's on Axe, and has self esteem issues. He spent a when i was still talking to him, he was saving up to get a bike, then he dropped the money on the bosley hair treatment... and if anyone here knows about it, its VERY expensive. like 999R expensive.

and yea i think he was the one who flipped my key to ON like twice in a row and ended up killing my battery. The only way to establish dominance in this household is to kick him out because the second i let my guard down, BAM laptop destroyed, TV destroyed xbox destroyed, all my clothes are gonna have rips and tears in them and my shoes would be burnt. Its been pretty good just ignoring him cause he stays out of my buisness now. I just need to put up with his crappy lifestyle for now.
