Switching to clipons

First off I have a 2008 Monster 695. Thinking about putting some clip ons on. What are the cons to dropping the front end just enough to put the clipons on top of the triple? I'm sure it would affect handling alot. Just how that would affect it. Also, The bar clamps on the stock triple, are those able to be removed at all once I got the clipons on?  What about the square coffin style resevoirs with this setup? Would I need the spacers for them or will they clear everything? Remember, I have no fairing or anything on this one!
