I think he had to go to a birthday party. Lame.
I heard he had to wash his goldfish.

bring a warm sleeping bag!
there is nothing better than sleeping outside, in cold weather...with the right equipment.
i woke up on a helibase on the edge of hells canyon a couple years ago, with ice all over my bivy sack.
toasty as can be...(until i had to get out)

I think she'd take offense to being called "equipment," but as long as she helps keep me warm I don't much care.

no, i'm pretty sure it had more to do with the bike being in pieces and not having a front wheel bearing that functioned properly.
but yes, no matter what the reason it, i did drop out.

and therein lies the problem. i'm awful at mornings as it is. i also hate being cold. i'll ride through the cold, but i won't sleep in it. there is a huge difference in the 2.

If it's Sept. I might be in. If it is before then, Nate has something that works well to keep warm on cold nights. Drinks well with nothing more than hot water.
