the chip&paint program is actually an intentional plan on the part of the navy.
by using crappy paint, it is guaranteed to wear quickly with exposure to salt water, thus giving the squids something to do in between ports of call.

after telling the woman what dimby was she asked why i wasn't going.

i told her it would prob be too cold at night and she laughed at me.  :-[
