I'm not sure if anyone else here has noticed, but there seems to be a global epidemic of this particular thing.

I'm not sure exactly when it happened, but around 4-5years ago when I was in my early twenties, the ground seems to have gotten harder. Somehoe laying on concrete, steel gratings, and gravel for extended periods causes all sorts of discomfort. I mean-that stuff didn't hurt before-why now?

What made today's diamond plate worse than my feather bed?

This is clearly a major environmental issue.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

That'd be a dreaded global aging.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

maybe thats why I felt so violated when I went sledding the other day. :o

But I do agree- the ground is much harder than I remember- especially after getting air on the jumps. Maybe I need to change out the sled for a tube. Its like one big 'roid doughnut!

Maybe it's not the ground. ;) :-*

How fast were you going when you slammed your head to the ground?

Trust me...

The hardening ground is just a symptom of a greater issue.  Gravity is getting stronger.  That makes the ground mush together more and then you get harder ground.  We need to fix gravity.

Actually, I'm now starting to think that what we have in global shrinkage.

Remember how big everything was when you were kid? Okay, so what happened to make everything smaller?

And as everything shrinks, it gets denser and therefore harder.

This also explains why my leathers from the late '80s are kinda stiff and don't even come close to fitting anymore.
