I paid a visit to the old DML to dig up the crash ticker tallies from previous years.  Talk about a ghost town!     There were like four people viewing the entire forum.  I don't know what General and No-Monster look like.  Never went outside of the local forum anyway.  I posted up a reply to an ancient thread asking where everyone went and tried to direct them not-so-discreetly over here.  We'll see if it works.  My sig still has the website address in it pointing over here and somehow I haven't been kicked off.  Everyone else I know that did that has gotten the ban-hammer.  Perhaps it was the topless shot of Spidey's shaved nipples that I sent to the mods that did the trick?

Speaking of things we're missing, I'm wondering whether the DMF mods are working on friendly URLs for the local boards? It's be nice to have www.ducatimonsterforum.org/sfmob/

Assuming they have control over the Apache config, that *should* just be some mod_rewrite magic.  I'm willing to help set it up if they want a hand.

friendly URLs for the local boards?

In a fit of panic when the old forum went haywire - before i discovered the new one - I registered a domain just in case. When I discovered the new forum, I just set the domain to redirect to the SF board:

http://ducatimob.org
