all 3 races were excellent. memo to ducati and haga.......i think your biggest threat in the title hunt won race 2 and looked really good doing it.

So... isn't that the same Suzuki Corser was on last season   Undecided   Go Ben Spies!

Haga is awesome.  He's been awesome for like 100 years.  How old is that guy anyway?!?   laughingdp  (Wait!  He's prolly younger than me...  bang head  ).

So, has anyone solidified any plans for the Daytona race Friday night? Is there a party? Eurosport Cycle? Shack in the country? Bar? Nothing?  Lips Sealed

I'm at home w/fam. nights.  Usually.  And this would be one of those usual times  Wink  So nothing personal against Daytona or the AMA... O.K. maybe the AMA  laughingdp

Sounds like there's a lot of potential for race-watching out there tho.

I think Haga said during the press conference that his burfday was Monday and he's 34.  Talk about old, how about Corser?!

I read Pegram was clocked at 199.9 mph on the 1098R at daytona. Fastest SBK so far! Who says a twin can't make some hp's??!!

Yeah, all 3 races were awesome (and by the way: Howdy everyone!).

How about ant west?  Underpowered by a HUGE margin on the straight, and still fighting for the win!

So... isn't that the same Suzuki Corser was on last season   Undecided   Go Ben Spies!

Lisa, Spies is on a Yamaha, right? Can't be the same suzuki if it's a yamaha!  Tongue
You must be thinking of Neukirchner, but I think he's on a 09 GSXR.  But yeah, full factory bike for a change, as opposed to the half spec he had last year.

But, how about Laconi?  Back to life on a Duc...

max Neu had 07 bike for the first 4-5 races then Suzuki gave him an 08 bike, this year pretty much everyone is on 09 bikes

I think is a bit early to call haga a champion this year Checa is strong so are the Suzuki guys, the Aprilia arent slow neither and Rea will have a go later this year...

I could bore you with the Daytona SBK results but I won't bother. It was viewed by the smallest crowd ever to see a Daytona Superbike race. Tongue What dumbass decided to run it on a Thursday afternoon? Really sad. Roll Eyes

Even Spies said he doesn't think the ama series will last much longer...

Why the heck are 600s racing in the Daytona 200??!!??!! That is supposed to be the premier US SUPERBIKE race!  That means the big bikes!

And how the heck is a 1125(?) Buell equivalent to a 600? That should mean a 1098 and an 848 are eligble. So confused. Where's my beer

848 where eligble... http://www.bikesportnews.com/_media/_pdf/2009_AMA_Pro_Road_Race_Program.pdf page 9

I think the race was pretty good lots of action and the last 5 laps where great.. Much more bikes cometing for the win and it will more fun in other rounds with tighter course...

Good Job BBoz! applause applause applause bow down
