Why do PETA go after the wearers of fur more than people wearing leather ????????????

Supposedly cattle are slaughtered more humanely than fur animals (we've all seen some videos of them being skinned alive)...

They've been laying low in our area since two of their members were caught dumping dead dogs in a dumpster a couple of years ago.

Upon completion of the latest project, anemic high fives were handed out like free falafel among the PETA staff, their gaunt faces stretched unnaturally with self-righteous joy, beards encrusted with celebratory gluten-free cake.  Another genus and species of kitten had surely been saved.  It was a job well done.

While I cannot say that I have ever seen videos of someone skinning a fur-bearer alive (nor do I want to), I can say that trying to skin anything, while it is alive, would be a major pain in the ass.  Better to whack it on the head with a 26-oz framing hammer first...from a production standpoint, anyway.
