good find dock - lots of useful info!
I found it a good refresher to a lot of things I was already aware of, and found a few new things as well.

Geez I wish you had put that up last night Vince!! lol
I went down today on the ride , kinda low sided it on gravel after over cooking a corner.
Ma poor old bike is a bit scratched but nothing to serious and I'm ok. Live and learn.
It was good meeting the new faces today.
Very angry with myself and rather embarrassed Andy.

Good to hear you're OK Andy. I too have learnt the hard way with gravel.
You'll be pissed with yourself for a little bit, then you'll be glad you're OK, then go back to being pissed.
Don't be too embarrassed, we make judgement calls in a split second, most times it works out fine, some times it goes the wrong way. Be consoled that you're not alone!

That's no good Andy!
It's hard looking at your baby with dings & scratches all over it, but you're OK which is the main thing!

Andy, I was thinking about your spill over night and since my recent experience, was especially relieved to see up straight away. When I saw the dust cloud I was thinking the worst but knew you were all right when I saw you picking up the bike. I wasn't sure if I should run over to help as I think I also saw the anger and frustration even though you still had the helmet on!
Unfortunately the 3 second rule doesn't count for bikes like it does for Vegemite toast. ie pick it up within 3 seconds of hit hitting the ground and it's OK to continue eating like it never happened.
Good luck with sorting out the damage.

Gee, I've just seen this after catching Rob (Flywheels Mech) yesterday and he told me that you had been down Andy.
I hope you are okay, it sounds like you are.
How did the bike fair, lots-a damage or just minor scraps and scratches for the ordeal.

Hey matt. Yeah I'm all good thanks , The bike isn't to bad suprisingly , a bit of gravel rash and a couple of broken bits. The pipes got marked which is a bummer but all in all nothing that can't be sorted out.
I'll bring scratchy down to be counted at the beach party.
