I know but it's interesting to think about the challenge.

Somehow I don't think the 620 would keep up firing out of the slower corners.

Here's a slight tweak for you:

around the outskirts of Kiama.

It's a little fiddly to find going north, you might want to quiz any locals you've got along...

big (busy that day, _damn!_)

thanks big, with ducmonrob and mmick we should be OK. come to think of it, I think I know it as well!

and I say blow off your other two conflicting engagements and get your priorities in order  Smiley

Ummmm, this is going to hurt.

I'm gonna have to withdraw my inclusion on said ride. My fricken toe isn't as good as it should be and my bike is still at Frasers awaiting my replacement Arrows.

Long story short, broke toe 3 weeks ago Sunday, still hobbling around. Bike is awaiting new pipes and they will be there ~ 30th May (hopefully). But i can pick it up as it's only cosmetic that they are getting changed.

I know I've gotta "HARDEN THE F*CK UP!", but I am in agony when I try and use my left foot. This has pissed me off no end and I'm desperate to get my bike back. I haven't ridden in over 2 months and I'm getting withdrawal symptoms.

F*CK THIS SH*T!

I'm F*CKING winning Powerball tonight, my luck has to change! Grin

Super, I feel for you. I had an operation on my right big toe (apparently "Great Toe ' in surgeon speak) 5 weeks ago and it was a bit painful. Some of you may remember that my typing was even worse than now...

Lucky for me it was the right toe - I was back riding in two weeks - left Toe, ouch - Perhaps you need to set up your bike with a race shifter and then stop when you have to get back to neutral so that you can start again..... laughingdp laughingdp

Or you can go the other way - Pethadine waytogo. No really, race shift pattern and have it set up so that you can change down using the top of you foot rather than your toe!

Ah well, you can always come to the Creek and watch me and the DesomediciRR take to the track.... bang head laughingdp laughingdp laughingdp

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

I was really looking forward to this ride....but there will be plenty more.

As soon as I get my bike back, I'm gonna need a buttectomy to get it removed from my arse, I'm not going to be off it. Evil

I know that everyone has a better time on the rides when I'm there  Roll Eyes, but what can you do.  Grin

I'm gonna take a pic of my toe jam and put it on here tonight. vomit vomit vomit vomit

As the 31st is fast approaching, I was wondering if anyone has set meeting points for the north and westies?  I thought I might suggest a meeting point from out this way.
Roll call for the people west of Gladesville bridge who are attending.  Huh? Or do people prefer to meet at the one place?

There's usually a few meeting points for people congregating in and around Sydney.

I suggest that the ride's official starting point is Loftus Oval, just before the turn off to the RNP.

I would suggest a 8.30am arrive for a 9am depart. (and yes this time I will arrive on time with a full tank!)
I will be getting to Mecca by around 7.30, leaving 7.50ish to get to Loftus in time with a fuel stop.

That would get us to Bald Hill about 9.40am. Pit stop only to pick up Sth riders..
On to Mt Kiera and MP Pass. Fuel stop in Robertson for the Testasrettas - around 145 kms (no stop at pie shop, we'll do that on the return loop)
On to KV for lunch, then Nowra, Kiama and back up Jamberoo Mtn road to the pie shop.
Down the pass, out along the back roads, past Lil's (nick and robs) corner and then fuel at the mobil getting back on the freeway - about another 150kms.
Back up Mt Keira, on to Broughtons Pass and Appin for a cleansing ale.

So:

7.30am Mecca
8.30am Loftus Oval
9.40am Bald Hill

Post up any other meeting places!
