So I went solo.  -Me

this contest reminds me of American Idol, the most popular wins, regardless of talent.

There were 3 bikes that I felt were in the running, with some serious Mods given the timeframe, shame we ended up with the winning example only having a paintjob. Wonder how the voting woould have been if you were not allowed to vote for a bike in your state. - Gene

Next year I'm gonna get my dealer to buy an SV650 and paint the Orlando County building on it with a Ducati decal over it and see if they notice.

Quote from: Raux on January 22, 2009, 04:31:15 AMOH and yes i voted for the winner (sorry to those who are here) but i took it as a custom stock panel contest, not the full blown custom.

It wasn't even a complete paint job. They even missed one of the fairings (granted, one that should simply be taken off). If it were about the paint, Beverly Hills even painted the heat shields as well as the entire windscreen.

And again... the outline of an old building on a plain white background? [laugh]

Someone here said it best this was a competition to find the best painter the dealers had access to, but damn it, they couldn't mount a freaking clutch cover?

I don't see it. Nice paint. Thats about it. Most of them had nice paint, but many of them at least did some mods. The new Monster has alot of potential.
08' S2R 1K   That was close  damn near lost a $400 hand cart.

I honestly thought DucPond would run away with it.  They put the most into their bike, and it one of the best of the new monsters I have seen!

Congrats on a well executed project DucPond you had my vote 8)
M-ROCin' it!!!
