just to note theres no reason why a CBR600/R1/GSXR600 etc CC clipn on wont work on a monster. as long as its 50mm it will fit.

I thought about that and basically share your opinion, but could they be different in regards of clearance around the top triple ? Wouldn't think so ...?

For me though, I'm probably going for SpeedyMoto top triple and Swatt clip ons with rise - bling AND functionality Cool

Different models have different rises built in them, if you buy a kit with less rise than the correct model you might run onto fitment issues. But if you mount above the triple then any 50mm kit would work.

So whats up with CC? I realize that there may be alot of inventory left over, you would think that Oncycle's would be just about giving the stuff away. It is almost as if CC is still producing some items. I for one wish they would start up again. I really liked thier clip ons and triples. Now that I have a late model Duc. the best option is the Speedymoto. Which is nice, But I really like the CC model.

Thats a risk with almost any clip on thats not made directly for the monster (which AFAIK is only the cycle cat, and soon, the Speedy Motos).

The space between the triple and the rise of the clip on is in my opinion, something you can ignore. simply because for it to not fit, would require a very small space between the rise and the triple, for that to happen, the triple would need to be pretty make the beast with two backsing large, and theres no need for a triple that thick. Ofcourse theres always the odd man out. But its something i wouldnt worry to much about.

ontop of that, the GSXR/CBR/R bikes are so damn similar up front, its just the kit them come with that are different (brake line, throttle cable, etc). Again, its ALL just a guesstimate and i could be completely wrong. The length of the bar could be different too, but thats nothing a little chop chop cant help!

dont mena to be rude, but so many people had your train of thought, and they came back into buisness for a while through a special program, but not enough people wanted their stuff. it was all talk and they closed down again.

Yeah, when they first started Alex was just making stuff for Ducs, Then they decided to start working on other bikes and I think thats where they started going down. I bought stuff from them back in 2000 and it was really nice . High quality.

Last I heard CC is not a dead company, they still make rearstands and some things like that and are hoping to possibly start up again when they collect enough funds from that. For a while the 'special program' thing was basically a preorder system for a certain product each month or 6 weeks or so and it would only happen if they sold enough units or else they wouldn't make enough money off that batch. But that only lasted a short while with not even the first few batches getting enough people signed up so I think theyre back to laying low. Im sure glad I got my cc clipons when I did
