After about 1 year of owning the Blackberry 8830 (World Edition), the battery life is starting to get really bad.

I'll need to replace it. Are there any good websites out there to buy batteries at a discount? Or should I just go to my local Verizon store?

Thanks  :)

eBay has some OEM and non OEM ones ranging from 1 to 15 bucks. I bought a non OEM one and its worked well on my 8820 so far. The battyer has outlated the phone though. (mic no longer works.)

yeah...about a year per battery is my norm.

I'd vote third option.    Look for a local battery warehouse or similarly named store.   I have two near me.  Price for non oem replacement battery is close to internet price but there's someone to talk to if there's a problem.
It's still buy a flounder a drink month
