Hey guys scooby's are not economy cars they have quite a thirst, my son was a WRC mechanic with the works team for many years and occasionally came home in one of the chase cars, yes it was bloody fast and boy could it drink gas!!  [bang]
If i were in the market for an eco compact i'd look real hard at the new VW Golf range they have some really nice models with good gas mileage's and good build quality.  [thumbsup]

So you recommend an uninspiring econobox (albeit good quality)? Honda makes one car I might buy, the S2000...

The vehicle from the factory is merely a canvas

much like the monster

besides

what else is there that is mechanically sound, excellent economy, warranty, and 15k?

I love my Honda Accord. 2003 V6 2 door with a 6-speed manual and Nav.

I would whole heartedly recommend one. Good power, decent handling, good fuel mileage with low maintenance costs.
