OK, so if you made it clear, why post this?

You keep dragging this thread along, I just stop by to be disgusted.
Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

i have had guys reach back and grab my crotch in an attempt to get around me. i'll either blow in their ear or ask them politely to let go of my wang.

Just answering asked questions...

More like the situation worked out ok and you're still being second guessed...

So...

it worked out OK so far...

I vote we leave it alone until things change.

First off that is none of his business

No it isn't, and wasn't when he brought it up prior.

As for the update. I am sure you know that in a lot of cases trying to talk to the parent can be a bad thing. It can go bad in so many ways.

Having the Police go and talk to the kid might not be a bad thing at all. Too many and I mean too many kids have no respect for the Police. So a healthy dose of fear might be a good thing.

Nope. I still think it should be the first step. Having a cop yell ay you for 187 on a snowman is not going to build respect.

I think we are all mature enough that we can let it go until more relevant information needs to be posted. I'm generally against locking threads unless there is uncontrolled chaos.

Come on, disturbing?  [roll]

There is a difference between him not having a healthy respect for authority (police officers) because they give him shit about nothing, and the cop going over there and telling him in no uncertain terms that what he did was illegal and could result in his arrest.

What he did could not have resulted in arrest. At least not by any self respecting cop.

I have parents from time to time come to the station and tell me they want me to scare their kid, tell him he will go to jail or whatever, because he doesn't mind them. I tell them all no. It's a parenting issue and I'm not going to damage the kids view of the police. He may need the police someday or I may need him and I want him to feel comfortable talking to the police.

Anyway...your snowman is safe. The kid has been dealt with and the single mom that works FT and goes to school turned out to be a good person regardless of your initial profiling. Ha! it's good to accuse someone else of profiling now and again. [thumbsup]
