You have to change them cos they sound crap so go with something originial I reckon.

Yeah, why not indulge a bit eh?

My concern now is something that someone brought up earlier, that the airflow may not be enough to spin both cans... That and if I have to remap the ECU.

Sell your monster and buy a Harley, I think it would go better with the flames and skulls paint scheme on the tank

Well a lot of people seem to just whack on the obligatory termis, which is fair enough, but I want something different.  And no, I don't have spinners on my car, I'm not some kid who is easily impressed by shiny objects.  But thanks for taking my post seriously and giving a new ducati rider and forum member a chance to get some opinions from an established community.

Sell my duke and buy a harley eh?... Yeah that's some great advice... Why didn't I think of that when I was buying the monster, gosh I'm a silly twat aren't I?

I reckon there's are fair amount of us on here without the termis, but with arrows instead. I guess that rules the arrows out...

So what about a Quat D ex box, some Zards, Mivvs or some boom tubes from Motocreations in the States (if you really want to piss off your neighbours that is  Grin). Search the accessories and mods section of the DMF for more info...

If old school if your flavour, there were some DP conti replicas around not so long ago that are IMHO one of the best sounding pipes for a ducati - anyone who's heard Rich's (ace70 on the DMF) bike knows what I am talking about.

And are they still around? And if so, were they the ones Matty was trying to get rid of? And if not,  Huh?

Sounds like electrickeral interference, but I'd personally like the pipes locked and loaded with REAL ammo for bloody tailgating car drivers !  Mwwwooaaarrghhhhaahahaa.  Evil  Wink  waytogo

+1 to that! waytogo

There're not my cup of tea but each to their own I guess.

I know of a couple of guys who would love these pipes. (must email them) Then I could see for myself

The only question I have is Are they legal in this country?
I know some of you might say legal smeegal but hey they last thing I want is the plod sniffing around.

Its the only reason I decided on a wet clutch bike ... as I thought a noisy, spinny thing attached to the side of the bike would be illegal  cheeky

Don't know whether they would be legal or not but, other than noise, what would make them illegal (and I don't mean the locked and loaded ones ... I can understand the coppers having a bit of a problem with those Roll Eyes)

All I can say is, what's the bloody point?

You can't even see 'em when you're on teh bike, spinnin' & spinnin' & spinnin'.  Roll Eyes

It would be good if you could put spud plugs in the end and shoot em out.  Grin

ah, thanks, now I get it!

people were acting abit weird.

Folks...went to WA, had good time, didn't use internet....am up and running now!

and Goombah mate...

I'll be truthful...and apparently we turn a nice phrase....

these tell the world that you are 'unable to gain and maintain an erection' in medical speak. bad. all bad.

you are too good for these!  Wink

and you're going to look good on that 696, you don't need these pipes! (there was a red 669 in Margaret River, with Termi's...sounded great!!!)
