Ok, so I found out the other day that a rep for a supplier that my company uses is also the rep for an Austrian company (subsidiary of KTM) that makes the Ducati oil coolers (maybe this is common knowledge).

I asked him if he could get me a deal on the M696 oil cooler and he said he just needs the KTM number that is stamped on the cooler. it should be something like KTM 45###

I already tried to give him the Ducati number (96852709B) and he said he needs the KTM number.

Anyone that has the cooler already, if you can read it, could you let me know what it is?? I emailed my dealer but havent heard back yet...

Thanks gang!

There is no way for me to get in there to find any numbers with it mounted.  WAY to cramped in there!  Sorry, but I just cant help you on this one.

maybe one of the dealers would open a kit and read the numbers off.... but then again that would cut into a sale...

I've got a kit on the way right now. I'll try to grab it and look before it ships out... I'll report back if I'm able to do so catch it between being received and shipped out.

Are you able to get all the connections and clips that come with the oil cooler? How much are you able to get it for? Is this a friend doing you a favor or something we can all benefit from, saving us from the outrageous Ducati pricing? I'm in Texas and in a couple months, I am going to NEED an oil cooler but dread spending $500 on it.

i wish i could pass this deal on to the rest of you guys, but its a supplier thru my work and the guy is doing it as a favor.

also i have a feeling its only the cooler and i'll probably end up buying the rest of the parts thru the dealer. hopefully, they sell them seperate...

That's cool, have to ask when there is potential for a deal  Grin

Good luck with it, be sure to post pics.
