Look up Rhythmic Gymnastics.  It used to be an Olympic event, but go dropped a bit ago.  They use some sort of item rope, hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon as part of the routine.  Some of the rope stuff is just freakishly incredible.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.
