...............................            also hoping to remove one of the two spacers on either side, still kindof a reach to the levers even adjusted all the way towards the bar.

I swapped right/left riser parts and rotated them. The result was almost no spacer requirement, but only almost - so one is on.
You'll need 30mm bolts instead of the 25mm you have now (riser to fork clip connection) You'll also need to raise the clip ons a little for them to clear the fork tops.

will  the ceramic coating protect my leg against heat? i wrapped it because i ground off the mounts for that awful guard thing. why does ducati put so many weird triangles in the new design. i'm against triangles. we need more squares and circles. jmho.

I've seen melted boot marks on wrap, so I think they get hot enough.

I agree (I just took the heat shields off and left the mounts—still looks better). But has your leg ever touched there? I would have to go out of my way to do that, and I think I wouldn't be touching it long enough to feel any heat through my pants if I did.

P.S. Clip-ons look much better now. waytogo

I somehow melted my pants on the exhaust right under the heat shield (with the heat shield installed)... how? I have no idea...

Maybe it happened while you were off the bike?

No... the melted part on the pants is on the inside of the leg... I must have been standing in a weird position holding the bike up straight at the gas station or something...

more pics! Can you take a couple close-up's of the hacked area? Looking to see if it's possible to do this and make it super clean. I assume you will be powder coating these now? And can you take a full side profile pic? Would love to really get a solid idea of what this looks like, now that the swingarm is totally exposed.

Overall, nice job!
