still awaiting DP seat, ASR levers, exhaust wrap (i hate the little guard thing) and need to move rear signals. Oh yeah and rearsets whenever they become available...

Cool.  Nice work.

I don't see the "Ducati" on the side of the tank panels -- is that red bodywork repainted black?

oops forgot the ASR short adjustable levers, and the old timey ducati logo for the tank:

planning on installing a steering dampener too, feels kinda twitchy?!

thanks all...

probably leave swingarm flat black, to de-emphasize it's weirdo shape.

the quat-d round are thicker than the termi's (maybe similar near the end though), and SUPER loud, damn I need earplugs bigtime, waay louder than the Leo Vince on my old 620 dark (RIP)

levers are ASV aren't they? Cool tank logo! Twitchy you say - maybe the wider rear wheel could help?
Swing arm: when I first saw the 696 I thought some of the "inside panels/shapes" might be painted.... gloss black, dark grey, red, ....... ?

BTW: can you tell us about the headlight? Easy job to hook it up?

Looks awesome! Is the gauge cluster still in the stock place or did you lower it?

thanks for posting the bigger pics heath, i am clueless.

yes, sorry, i meant ASR levers. I think I need them because the spacers put the levers even farther away from the bars.

would like to look into a wider rear tire, gotta stop throwing $$$ at it for the moment though (except for rearsets LOL)

Headlight was real easy actually, just a few wires and some bolts. Haven't figured out the high beam yet though.

Cluster is sort of in the same place, I am going to take off the lower cover (more weird shapes removal) and use a cord cover to hide the wires.

Also am going to mount it so it's is flat (parallel with the ground) to clean up the lines.

I was told by Bill Swatt that the riser part itself can be turned around to (maybe) avoid the need for spacers. Was this an option when you installed yours? If you decide to do that, please post your findings - I'm doing the same thing with my bike, which has the same reservoirs.

MotoWheels have rearsets coming, they just needed to fabricate some spacers, brackets or something.....
