i am taking my bike in to have the 7500 service done in about three weeks. should i do the open air box mod before i go or after? the only other major mods are the hedman resonator exhaust welded to a pipe with bend in it and wrapped in header wrap all the way up, and cannister removal.
home will always be between the red and rio!!!

Other than maybe richen things up throughout the entire range with the trim they can't map your ecu.

Do it first.

You would only cut the airbox if your bike is set up to allow you to retune to compensate for the added air.  If you have an upgraded ECUs you would open the air box, but some ECUs are not tunable.   Call ahead and ask your service tech.
