Clutch basket tool in Brisbane

Anyone in the Brisbane area have a clutch basket removal tool that I can borrow for a day?

I'm in the processing of replacing the 12 tooth basket with a 48 tooth one.

If you can get hold of a rattle gun and compressor you wont need the tool. !! 

Is the basket one of one of the Monster Parts Ergal units??

Had mine on for around 13k now and the plates have hardly worn, and the basket is doing well . Great value I reckon.

Sounds like a good excuse to buy an air tool!

I've got an EVR kit on the way. They claim 4 x better life out of the basket.

Tipping point for me was when the clutch rattle got louder than the open Arrow pipes

Are you saying the basket can be replaced without the tool to loosen it up? I'm told they're on pretty tight.

I bought a rattle gun for my compressor to do the job from Autopro. Make sure you get a good one as the first cheapy I bought didn't have the guts to undo the nut.

I made the tool you've pictured and you'll need to hold the basket while you torque everything up. I made one from the old clutch plates and welded a handle onto it. It's a bit tough to do as the steel is hardened.

There are some really good instructions on how to do this on the old DML. Dont know if they;ve been copied over but you should do a search

I bought an STM 48 tooth kit on my old M900. Loved it. Way lighter as well and changes all sorts of things.... bit like adding a lighter flywheel.

The rattlegun took mine off no probs without a holder and tightened up ok also.
