came across this "mpg guide" on an American website...

http://hubpages.com/hub/Motorcycle-MPG-Guide-Ducati

They aren't official fuel consumption figures but they seem pretty close.

Speaking of which, how many kms out of a tank and therefore L/100km do most of us get?

On my 620, 5L per 100km seems the average, light will come on around 220-240km.

2007 S4RT with Zard open exhaust, DP Open Air Box & DP ECU....

Up the Old Pacific Highway:
6-7L ish per 100km
14-16 km per litre
Light on at 150-160km

Round town I get worse figures than the above like 9L per 100km with 10km per litre......  Cry

But you got love that power.....  [moto]

Holy crap Trev, 9L/100km!

Our car averages less than 8L/100km not bad for 147 killer wasps ... but it doesn't have to lug a dozen virgins around all the time ... are they bulking up a bit Trev?

Trev, I hear you on that. My S4RS drinks more than me. My Landrover gets better fuel economy than I'm getting going to work. I have to fill up every 3.5 days!

I'm using 6L/100kms on my 1000s. Most i have ever done is 240kms before refuelling. Haven't had to push it - yet!  No city commuting tho. Fuel light rarely comes on.  It's shy.
