Jukie is a 2002 620ie, so close.

sure it's not a MY03? late 2002 manufacture would equate to a Model Year 2003 in duc manufacturing speak.

She bought it in July 2002 (is that late in the year?)

Also have on file a price sheet from NFI dated Feb 2002 listing the 620ie as a 2002 model.

Spider.

What is the dry weight units (i'm assuming pounds as they sure ain't kilos).

And are you sure they're correct.  The 696 is 160kgs (dry)  according to the brochure.  And my bike is 40kgs heavier which is similar to the 1100's weight.  So if your values are in pounds it still doesn't seem right.

pounds, dry weight (without battery, lubricants - that's how I like to enjoy my motorcycle)

it's a continuation of data from the DML model comparison page which we would like to bring forward from 2003.

dry weights are as per ducati site.

there is a year that the weights change from wet to dry...and also a year that it goes from rwhp to hp at crank case to compare with Japs....it's around 2004 I believe. I'll discover it tomorrow when messing with the 4 valvers!

well maybe it's a 2002... to be honest I'm more well versed on my M800, and you are more thank likely correct!
I know the M800 was an 03 and 04 only...

The 900 they messed with from 2000 on I think with FI, so who really knows, those crazy Italians..
