No Ren and Stimpy yet?  bang head  What's wrong with you people?
Oh, and Mighty Mouse

And I'll second the WB (Bugs and Wylie being best), HB, Thundercats, Transformers, Voltron, He-Man and GI Joe.

I know they're not cartoons, but...

My wife and I were just showing our son some YouTube clips of Krofft show intros (HR Pufnstuf, Land of the Lost, Lidsville, etc.) He just got a scared look in his eyes, slowly backed out of the room, and muttered something about how now he finally had the explanation he'd been seeking for so long.

Ren & Stimpy as childhood cartoon?! You jest - they were on when I was in med school. If that era counted, I would have to say Dangermouse, no question.

Actual childhood? Captain Nemo, Crusader Rabbit. Echh.

mever really considered them to be from my 'youth'

because then I'd have to add beavis and butthead, and aeon flux... and a whole bunch of anime I watched since like 7th grade.
