how to find the source of a phone number
«
on:
May 13, 2008, 10:01:55 PM »
i've been getting calls from the 310 area code (Santa Monica, CA, i think). when i answer, i just get beeps. i know it's not bill collectors or someone else who might have a reason to call me at nearly effin' midnight. so i assume it's a company trying to call me ...
how do i figure out what company this number belongs to so i can call them on their main line and rip somebody a new one?

Or just type the number into google. It usually has something listed unless it's a cell phone...

this is the only source that had any information. even google didn't show anything 'cause it was an automagic computer on a dedicated fax line.

[grumble, grumble]

You might be onto something for a script idea. Throw in a bit of They Live's subliminal advertising, and roll in the box office receipts! By DMF Productions.
