It's been a while since we have racked up some miles all at once (Japan doesn't count) on our motorcycles.  We are planning another adventure in the next thirty daysish.  As stated above anyone joining in will need a valid passport.  Here are a couple of links to obtain one: http://www.uspassport123.com/passports.asp http://travel.state.gov/passport/get/first/first_832.html   (there are several out there).  If you are serious about coming you need to block off at least five days.  We will be starting and ending in Albuquerque.

Ohhh,  I love the cookie monster/kermit video!!!  How cute!  That rocks!

You know I am in for the trip.  I googled it like you guys suggested and that is such a go for me.  It looks like a phenomenal ride.  If I don't get around to the Baja ride this spring, I will at least get close.   Pete, a SoCo DOG, sent me this link to get going on the Baja plan.  Actually the prices are way over what I want to pay and I hate the idea of an orgainzed, guided trip, but it is a data point.

It feels great to have something on the calendar again.   waytogo Grin [moto]

Wrong answer (you owe me a box of cookies).   We have a blue version of your bike tuned-up, gassed up & ready.

These kind of trips could never be the same without you.     Cry    [moto]  [moto]  [moto]  [moto]

One of these days when I finish the next round in a never ending series of classes (It sucks going back to school in your late 30s) and when I have more money than I can count, I will be able to go out and do cool things like this.  Alas, for now, it's gonne be me and my stormtrooper bike riding to Mountainair and back.   bang head

I hope so too.  Kingbaby and I have to get renewals as well.  Let's hit it!!  [moto]

Latest update:

I just looked this up and it seems they extended the current guidelines until this summer.  If you have a passport card or just a birth certificate along with a valid photo id, that will work too.  Here is a link with the information.  Smiley

You HAVE to get the expedited process to get them quickly.  Last I knew though, it was a 6 week process due to new regulations on it.
